Kind, wise, with a lovely sense of humour, passionate about the things that really matter (including cricket I guess!)... I feel so privileged to have had the opportunity to work with Dave, even if only as a relative newcomer to his team, 6 years ago. I think that's a mark of the loyalty he has inspired in so many. I remember that bittersweet day when we celebrated Dave's career, shortly after he had lost Maggs. I am humbled by all Dave's achievements- and by how loved he is across the world by all those whose lives he's touched. Dave, we'll do our utmost to bring the red cell trial to fruition for you.
